post 321 to remind guohui that he ought to remember not scrimp and save for one moment, only to spend frivolously on the next.

so much for trying to spend less than $S200 for 1 mth.

but lots of things are coming up.

all in the next week.

finally played ball with the usual gang despite me nt really performing to my standard. i think i haven really recover from my back sprain yet. still seems to be so strengthless in executing my passes and shots. the feeling just ain't there anymore. but it's great defeating legends, fast mobile sleek off the ball movement and great 3pters. terence and co is my best bballer mates i supposed.

dinner today was great. it has been so long since we went out as a family. and sipping red wine at my aunt's hse is awesome. it's a damn good bottle of 05 south eastern aust 05 wine with hazelnut, cashew nuts and pastachios.

and off with guohui to bed, feeling tipsy but smiling. tml will be a wonderful day for me to laze ard.

apex 09 finally stands down today. and the crazy work schedule for me has come to a standstill. which means i get to enjoy my normal 2nd off. =)

which i'll appreciate more when they throw me from m6 to m9, m5 to m7 while i'm nursing my back strain while being back on duty without declaring my mc.

anyway, i was about to purchase a bottle of coke from the vending machine at my base which cost S$1.60. and i stopped and ponder.

"this 500ml of coke costs me S$1.60 to last me 10mins. but S$1.60 now can get me 1000ml of petrol to run 13km. not worth it."

and off went guohui to the water cooler.

been having real severe back ache since last week and finally saw a doc today. have a 5 days mc but i opted for light duty instead. gonna stick to my 0-mc policy man.

but it's crazy not being able to move my neck.

it's crazy how many guys dates i have for a vday night. every guy just classify me as a single and avail date. sadly i am. and the guys at pcg esp dennis is really bent on setting up blind dates for me. gosh.

and it's crazy hw hazy it is out a sea these days. could even make out the buoys, let alone passing vessels in the dark.

just some random words. off to bed. *heaving a sigh of relieve because i think i'm seeing the last of the days of my 2nd off being burnt. 1 more major event in ex. APEC before it's time for a real break and resume normal duties. tt means back to regular jogging, gymming and swimmning again.

audit today totally proved my worth as a good SC. haha. nt only can i finish the theory part in 10mins, but memorising and providing the exact paper as well. cool. but it's a darn waste of my 2nd off.

was surfing ard and thought of organising a sailing trip for the hm ppl. a check with the raffles marina shows that they are offering boat charter on their 37' Grand Banks Motor Yacht for SGD 580 for a 4hr blk and SGD 900 for a 8hr one. cruising speed is only 8 knots. and i tinker and ponder. damn. i sail the sea every other day at <40knots for at least 13hrs a shift with an allowance to take home. i'll be damn to enjoy the same sea state for tt obscene amt of money. maybe i shall call to ask we can save the cost for a deckhand and just hire the damn skipper instead. though i thought i am even worthy of sailing ard kusu island area ( which is practically M6, my fave patrol area) as a skipper.

tt's random.

and damnit, 3 night shift cycle starts tonight till sat morning. good grievance i'm single for tt sat for a well deserved rest before sun morning shift hits me again

CNY totally zoom by without much of a notice to myself this year. apart from going back to kuantan after a good 2 yrs, my whole CNY is practically devoted to PCG. speaking of the kuantan trip, it's great seeing everyone again, lots of changes here and there, be it the house or the people. but it's great.

and the rest of time are spent on the training hrs, the PCG seasports carnival, the training audit tml and the team charlie shift swap on fri night. and hopefully, nth pops up after tt so that i can have my normal off days rest.

been driving ard alot recently, getting lost a lot and doing a lot of car washings. damn. i think i seriously need a gps.

fitness level these days is horrendous, being nt training up for the past mth or so, did a 2.4 run today, clocking 10:50. horrible horrible horrible.

shagged out. but still, gonna mug thru my notes for the theory part of the audit tml.
