Life of guohui ...chp 302 part 1

it's finally my day off after a hectic working schedule for the past week, and more to follow for next week insane work week to cover the duties of our muslims compatriot.

and then it will be off to pattaya for a lovely week.

and now for the grumbling part. looks like i have to cancel my new balance terrain run and sell off my standard chartered marathon's registeration to someone else. and hopefully i can take part next year.

all because of the ligament shift in my left leg. or so it's diagnosed with. and dear guohui will be happily doing his physio at CGH sports clinic regularly to tone back the ligament and to strengthen my calf and thigh muscles for the already catrilage-loss plight for my left leg.

and the doc has to say that an old man's leg is fixed onto a young man's body. tt's how bad it is. unknowingly. seems like the enduring of the pain for the past ten mths is a mistake. and quite a grave one at that.

and nw i have to minimize my sports involvemnt. tt means no more representing team for the swim meet too. thank gosh.

and abt nt having enough rest for the past week, it seems that i made lots of blunders today at a go.

like booking 2 one way tix to bangkok on separate dates?
like entering my card number instead of my acc number when doing fund transfer?
like totally messing up my EDO and leave schedules?
like missing the bollard of 2nd gen PT for the 3rd gen PT?
like forgetting i'm on standby duty for the F1 event?

morning shift on fri.
night shift on sat that last till sun.
in-service on mon.
night shift on tues tt last till wed.
night shift on wed tt last till thurs.

i'm so goddamn tired now.

and meeting them later at vivo for present buying. tt's like harbourfront again!

and lunch tml at douby ghaut.

and perhaps slotting in merry-go-round a hunting.

and a possible diving trip with the team to pattaya in oct.

so much for loss of word and braindead scenario.

upset!

applied for leave for ytd 2 to 3 weeks ago but was not granted the last min due to the lackf of manpower and some special ops. tried to find someone to swap duty with, but after ended up almost calling the whole of team alpha and i couldn't find anyone.

and went off to work on sat night with a heavy heart. esp when i am going to miss the bday bash of someone in the clique.

which i forsee will happen again next week.

grrh. pts of time when NS is such a liability. and tt's going to carry on to eat my weekends and cause me to miss out a lot more on my social life.

life as a police officer? definitely not the career pathway for me right now.

what seems like a normal msg just seems so much like a jab in the heart. so does it means that i can be forsaken whereas the presense of others prestige over mine? yes i know that we are one big family. but when ppl i valued asked me out when i'm free, only to change the appointment to another date which i cannot make it just because others cannot make it on my free day. so where do i stand?

sounds like a petty man grumbling but hw would you feel in my shoes?

maybe it isn't what it seems but that's the msg the petty man gets apparently.

the disappointed feeling will pass by. but does it have to come by in the first place?

even eugene, whom i admit i'm nt so close with remembers me and get me something from his china exchange programme even though i know nth abt his trip.

tt goes to show hw much i'm being appreciated huh?

and dear old sameer ride me to ECP island resort for ttk's 21st bday celebration with 2hm-ster.



and on sun, i was suddenly shift to do MB1, returning home on mon morning at 9am, only to report for work at 5.30pm on the very same day to cover MB2, which means 8.5hrs of resttime before work!

and here i am finally home today at 9am, dozing off till 4pm before wanting to head for my jog or maybe to shoot some hoops when the rain, damn the rain came pouring.

and i so need to see a doc for my catrilage, just when i thought it's getting better, it proved otherwise, and my kneecap hurts lots. hopefully it will recover in time for the NB terrain run.

and i'm still waiting for my surprise homebaked mooncake.
