it has been a pretty long week. with so much going on. working the EO, covering extra shifts and of course, the much anticipated pattaya trip with the team.
had a great time in pattaya, finally getting my PADI open water diving license after dragging on for so long. the underwater world is really cool, almost presenting me an out of this world feeling, drifting away with the blue spotted rays, swimming thru thousands of shoals of fishes, be wary of stepping on the hundreds of sea urchin, trying to catch the pufferfish before it bloats up and flushed itself away, be amazed by the many diff kind of corals and the organisms that lives in the coral grps. total exhilarating.
and follows by an ice cold pint of Heineken when we ascend. gosh i love diving.
and if everything goes as planned, we'll be back in march for either our advance open water or wreck diving.
and of course partying away at the clubs. imagine partying from 11pm till 6am before heading for our dive at 9am. henessy, johnny walker black label and chivas? bring on the beer tower man! every night is a reason to party:
1st night: thailand welcome party, where the junior men treats the senior men
2nd night: senior men's treat to welcome the junior men
3rd night: open water diver's celebratory night
4th night: last night in pattaya party
there is always a reason to celebrate. the open water diver celebratory drink is damn cool man, where they actually pour beer into the snorkelling mask which we the new divers are supposed to wear and drink from. and since the only breathing space is from the snorkelling tube where the beer is coming from, we ended up having to drink in 1 shot!
and of course, the good food which boss treat
and lazing by the beach/pool with a good read and beer(like again!), doze off
and trying the exotic fried scorpions and insects
total fun!
and off i head to zq's 21st after i landed in sg on fri.
and to work the very next day. back to the days of duck rice again.
