hi everybody, this is guohui live from singapore news coverage, presenting to ya his life...muahaha...
ok ok, juz a quick recap of wad happened to me over da past erm days... went to help out for the chingay 2005 as crowd controller... haha... met quite a number of npcc frens dere.... from all cliches and groups, from one way or another... believe me, i'm nt so much of a active person at hq but i do realise i do noe a number of npcc mates... excluding all da fellow deltarians...
ok ok... for both friday and sat, went down to do my duty in da hot pink chingay helpers' shirt PLUS a bright green security vest!!! how outstanding can tt be man... aniwae, basically my jobscope is nt make sure tt no one crossed tt boundary line to charge and disrupt the parade... tt is no easy feat trying to outtalk some stubborn old man old lady, young petty man, young pretty ladies... but somehow i managed to for the 2 days and i'm rather proud of myself...muahah..
had some interesting tales to share k... on fri, there was these bunch of SRJC yr 1s being the motivators... yeap... they were cute... but noisy man... asking me these and tt... muahah... lame loh.. but tt was fun... enjoyed a first glimpse and exclusive view of the parade at the closest range possible... tt is on the road... aniwae, was kinda diaoz tt ppl actually got tix to SIT on the pavement of the road to watch the parade; with the motivators and ME in front of them man.. tt is getting a tix to watch my face loh... hahaaha
day 2, sat, was fun... suddenly my sector(4b) had so many more crowd controllers... yeap... and there are crazy ppl lyk me shouting " excuse me, security" as we march down to centrepoint for our duties... and there was this girl; ling wei... she actually came up to me and say tt i look familiar k... well, actually i do, she met me at this national camp when i was the lifesaver... and happen so tt she was one of the few campers tt i actually have a chat with on one of da nites k... coz as a lifeguard for the camp, i actually dun really have much interaction time with the campers... lest nite time they cannot slp den came down, glad to find someone to talk to... yeap... aniwae, i recognised her and ya la, talk to her la... haha... aniwae, she happened to be at the area beside mine, so we do actually have occassional chats( coz her partner was lyk so damn quiet and look so anti-social). so i ended up chatting with my partner, a female ntu undergrad by the name of mei something de...forgot le...haha...and ling wei la... aniwae, watch the parade for the second time, at a even closer range... but the crowd on sat was more rowdy la... but thanks goodness nth serious happened la... after tt parade, the peeps at my area ( in front of specialist shopping centre) took photo and sit and lie on the middle of the road... it is nt everyday tt u can do tt man... haha...
den went to sector one to crowd control the street party area la... had a couple of pics taken with the deltarians... fooled ard and sang here and dere...den went up to chat with this ling wei... she seemed so antisocial, coz she was lyk the youngest and only few 16yrs old ard... den started to chat/ argue abt who is cuter, angeline or another girl tt she commented was cuter... haha...
and btw, she's just those kind of charismatic girl looks so composed and confident when she talks, always giving a sweet smile, kinda cute person demured yet gud to chat up to de... haha...
aniwae, after everything, met guojin, my cibtc squad CII and da beloved deltarian actually fall in and took photo with him k... den went to mac to laze ard before going home...
though the parade was a success, there were flaws k....
1)fillet o fish burger with no tartar sauce
2)worse still, some had no cheese
3)lousy make shift washroom with no exits...
4)and lots...
